Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Thursday that Britain should hold a second referendum to "put an end" to the chaotic retreat process. He believes the possibility of a second referendum is now more than 50%.
"I think if we go to another referendum, we can really solve the problem. You will admit, myself included, that if the referendum results are still going, then leave, "Blair told Reuters Television at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He himself opposed the British withdrawal.
"But I think that if we leave in such a chaotic situation and do not return the right of choice to the people, there will be greater division."
"It would be totally irresponsible to withdraw from the EU without an agreement, and I am sure Parliament will not allow it," he said.
