Hengda seeks to raise about 1 billion 500 million US dollars through property in

      China Evergrande (3333.HK) is discussing financing of about $1.5 billion this month with Hong Kong commercial buildings as collateral, two people familiar with the situation said.
In 2015, Evergrande bought the Wanchai mall from Chinese property (0127.HK) for HK $12.5 billion ($1.6 billion).
One of the sources said China Evergrande plans to use some of the funds raised to pay off overseas debts and dividends. China Evergrande has not yet fully implemented the transaction.
China Evergrande did not respond to requests for comment.
